Hi there, I'm Carly!

 

 I am a proud Jersey girl who spent most of childhood attempting to beat my little brothers in sports and letting them play ensemble roles in my living room musicals, where I was the star (Fiddler On The Roof was our biggest hit)!  I graduated top of my class from Northwestern University with a major in Theatre, minor in Psychology, certificates in Musical Theatre and TYA, and a bunch of experience playing children. Now living in NYC, I spend most of my time on stage, screen, or in my closet recording Voice Overs.

 

On the writing side of things, I was co-creator and Head Writer of the 88th Annual Waa-Mu Show: For the Record. The S.S. Cancelled,  my newest original work  written with my brother Kyle Mazer, premiered at NYTF in November of 2022. I also continue to pursue my love for TYA and Teaching through work at 92NY Musical Theatre, and various other organizations throughout NYC.

Most of all, I'm passionate about positive change through the arts. I believe storytelling is one of the most powerful tools we have, and I love using it to bring joy. If you need someone to belt out a song, play a convincing child (or small animal), or throw herself on the floor repeatedly, I'm your girl! 

 

When I'm not performing,  writing, or hanging out with kiddos, you can probably find me reading historical fiction, hiking a nearby mountain, or eating frozen yogurt while watching TV! I hope you enjoy spending time on my site as much as I love exploring my favorite website, theasaurus.com!
